Er is een rustig moment, misschien net na zonsopgang, waarop de wereld zijn adem inhoudt. Licht valt op iets delicaat, een flikkering van beweging gemaakt van massief goud. Dit is waar onze vlinder leeft, niet als een grillig teken, maar als een vastgelegd moment van gratie.
De vleugels zijn zorgvuldig met de hand gevormd in 14-karaats geelgoud en vormen een studie in evenwichtige vorm. In het midden is een enkele, zorgvuldig geselecteerde diamant gezet, een punt van stille schittering dat het hele ontwerp verankert. De setting is zo precies dat het inherent aanvoelt, alsof de steen er altijd al heeft gehoord.
