Er schuilt helderheid in een rechte lijn, een rustige autoriteit die geen verfraaiing behoeft. We stelden ons een stukje van de ochtendhemel voor, net voordat de zon het opeist, die smalle strook van lichtgevende belofte, en vertaalden de essentie ervan in goud en diamant.

Deze staafhanger, gesmeed in 14-karaats geelgoud, bevat een kanaal van zorgvuldig geselecteerde diamanten. Hun collectieve schittering, precies 0,11 karaat, is geen flits maar een aanhoudende gloed, een ingetogen uitstraling die met de drager meebeweegt. Met zijn 18,4 millimeter is de lengte bewust gekozen: een strakke, architecturale vorm die licht tegen de huid rust.

Het wordt geleverd aan een verstelbare ketting, omdat zo'n stuk zijn eigen natuurlijke plek moet vinden. Als je hem draagt, draag je een fragment van die serene horizon met je mee, een persoonlijke as van licht en evenwicht.
