Gecentreerd in het kruis is een blauwe saffier van 0,15 karaat nauwgezet gezet. De kleurdiepte van de steen zorgt voor een rustig brandpunt, een opname van de middernachtelijke hemel in veilige, vierpuntige helderheid. Het is kleur met een intentie, niet slechts een versiering.
