Het begint met een gefluister van licht, een enkele diamant die in beweging hangt. Dit is de 14K Diamond Threader Earring, een studie in doelbewuste eenvoud. Door de lob loopt een delicate geelgouden draad, verankerd door een eenzame, zorgvuldig gezette diamant die het licht opvangt met een rustige, aanhoudende schittering.

Met een lengte van vijftig millimeter is de lengte een weloverwogen keuze: lang genoeg om de lijn van een nek te volgen als het haar omhoog wordt geveegd, subtiel genoeg om in de dag te verdwijnen totdat een draai van het hoofd zijn glans onthult. Het zijn sieraden voor het onuitgesproken moment: de nadenkende pauze in een gesprek, het langzame slokje koffie in de ochtend, het zelfvertrouwen om iets moois te dragen omwille van de stilte.

Vervaardigd uit 14-karaats geelgoud en met een diamant van 0,03 karaat, is het gewicht verwaarloosbaar en de aanwezigheid ervan diepgaand. Dit is geen accent, maar een fundamenteel stuk: de enkele noot waarrond de harmonie van een dag is opgebouwd.
