Er heerst een rustig vertrouwen in de halve hoepel, een vorm die voltooiing suggereert en tegelijkertijd afwezigheid eert. Deze 14k geelgouden versie van Frank & Label wordt gedefinieerd door zijn precieze boog, een curve die wordt bereikt door nauwgezette handvormgeving en afwerking. In het midden is een enkele robijn veilig geplaatst, waarbij de diepe karmozijnrode tint een opzettelijk brandpunt vormt tegen het warme goud.
De steen, een robijn van 0,077 karaat, is geselecteerd op kleurverzadiging en helderheid en vervolgens zorgvuldig genesteld in een gepolijste rand. Door deze instelling kan het licht vanuit elke hoek op de edelsteen ingrijpen, waardoor de aanwezigheid ervan ook in de subtiliteit van een bocht voelbaar wordt. Met een gewicht van slechts 0,57 gram draagt de oorbel zijn substantie in de integriteit van zijn constructie: van de stevige paal tot de vloeiende lijn van de band. Het is minder een ornament en meer een architectonisch detail voor het oor, een studie in evenwichtige vorm en opzettelijke kleur.
