In de rustige discipline van een goudsmidbank wordt een 14K geelgouden band getransformeerd. Dit is niet zomaar een ring, maar een onderzoek naar weloverwogen gewicht en proporties, waarbij het metaal wordt bewerkt om een aanwezigheid te bereiken die substantieel en toch moeiteloos in balans ligt op de hand.
In het midden wordt één enkele diamant beveiligd met een precisie die spreekt van generaties aan expertise. De steen, met een doelbewuste 0,113 karaat, is geselecteerd vanwege de kwaliteit van het licht, niet alleen vanwege de maat.
