Er schuilt een rustig vertrouwen in één enkele hengst – een verklaring dat schoonheid geen symmetrie nodig heeft, dat aanwezigheid niet in paren maar in evenwicht wordt gemeten. Deze 14-karaats geelgouden zetting herbergt een blauwe topaas van 0,19 karaat, waarbij de snit niet is gekozen vanwege het pure spektakel, maar vanwege de diepte, waardoor het licht wordt gevangen als een ingehouden adem.

De kleur van de steen is het zachte, verre blauw van de late namiddaghorizon, koel en helder. Met een afmeting van 2 bij 23,5 millimeter is de schaal bewust ontworpen voor een subtiel maar zeker gewicht tegen de huid. Het vakmanschap ligt in de veilige, naadloze omhelzing van goud tot edelsteen, een unie die zowel eeuwenoud als onmiddellijk aanvoelt.
